I took the car out again today after finding out the carbon tip in the HEI cap was gone and the car had 50 degrees of total timing in it.

The track was not the best and my 60fts were are 1.88 to 1.99.

A kid had this Audi S4 all wheel drive, larger turbo, huge intercooler, larger MAP(?) thing that is in front of the air intake and a computer in side. I was a stick car. He ran 12.45 to 12.75 all day. The best I had all day was a 12.88 and the worst was a 13.12. I told my brother I want to run that guy and he said he is going to beat you. I said I guess we will find out. Well, here is the time slip and you dont have to have the faster car to WIN. The kid was really nice and came over after to see the car.

I also saw a car from last year that was some import wagon with that stupid poping relief valve that had 11.7 on the side. He was running 12.7-8 and had a vanity plate "V8 WHAT". My brother told the guy lining us up to send the Mustang alone. He did and we lined up and I had open headers. He had a stick and needed to build boost. He made the mistake of staging first and I took forever to stage and then jumped in. The lights started and I caught him sleeping or trying to spool. He was not happy losing very badly. He even missed a shift trying to run me down.

Well that was playing with the imports today. Oh yeah, I have stock 72 valve heads and need to put my Stage 1 heads on soon because 12.8's are 2slow

Bob, I need to get quicker before I start picking on the imports. I did see a full size Chevy gas truck run a 14.5.

As soon as I can get in the low 12's I am going to put my sticker in the rear window that says.

Imports are like tampons, every pu$.y has one.:eek2:

Hi Cole, do you want to sponser a race car! It would only cost you a set of TA heads. :)

I fly out to Atlanta Monday at 1pm and get back Friday around noon. Maybe we can get together for lunch Friday or get a bite to eat Friday night. Let me know.

Also, Brandon needs to head up here some weekend with his car.

Here is the street legal schedule.

Good Story Topless....cant Wait To Take Mine To The Track When Finished....im Probably A Month Out From That Fun Right Now....realistically Im Thinking I Will Run 13.50's "at Best" Though With My :( 65 Coupe, 2:73 Rear,455, Stage1 Heads,ta 288,800 Cfm Edelbrock,performer,t350/2500 Converter.... Back In The 80's I Built A 72 Gs 455 Convert / 70 Regular Small Valve Heads, With 3:08 Single Side, turbo 400,stock Converter, stock Qjet, stock Manifolds, stock Camshaft, intake Etc. I Ran Usually All Day Long A 13.67-14.00's @97-99. I Used To Line Up Each Week With A Guy Who Had A Built To The Hilt 340 Dart/auto And It Was Amazing How We Would Be Neck And Neck Each Week...he Couldnt Understand How My Stock 455 With Absolutely No Rump In The Idle Could Run As Good As His Killer Sounding 340-single Carb- No Nitrous...our Torque Rules I Guess ...... I Always Remember Even With 8 Inch Slicks Spinning The First 50 Ft Out With That Stock Cam Then Catching Some Traction ,quickly Pulling Up On Him And Then Staying With Him Fender To Fender All The Way Down The Track ......it Was A Fun Rivalry Each Week And We Would Always Look For Each Other ...going To The Track Is Fun.......glad To Hear You Are Enjoying It.
