Hello all. Since many of you are into other things than Buicks, I might as well ask here. My wife has been shopping for a VW Beetle (classic) convertible. She does like the newer 78-79 ish interior versus the all steel dashes of older versions. We drove my trailer up to Strongsville OH and came back empty. Way too much rust! I do not need a Project. I am looking for something "done". I am in Indiana. She Loves Teal with white interior and white top. She would settle for Teal convertible. Second would be Red with white interior and white top. She would settle for Red with white interior and black top. Prefers white interior on the convertible. Does anyone have a lead? Thank you for your time! Troy
Wrong color interior, but it’s teal. https://jacksonville.craigslist.org/ctd/d/jacksonville-1979-super-beetle/7544425545.html
There is no such thing as an old school VW that's "done". All of them either were just rebuilt or will soon need to be rebuilt, or both. The engines I mean. Good luck.
Well buddy, we’ve got one but, I don’t think the wife will cut it loose. I believe it is one of the champagne edition cars which they only made 1000 of. It is a 1977.
Wife has reconsidered and is in the market to sell. It might be one of these: https://sebeetles.com/champagne/
