well, I picked up my rear today. Did some research and per the stamped code, It is indeed a 72 Buick 8.5 2.56 Drum to drum complete. $140. Now time to clean it up and start a search for some new gears (and possibly posi if i can afford it). Any idea what shop labor would cost to have someone install new gear set and any other need items I need?
