Hey I've hit a wall with my 69 buick. I got the starter wired up correctly brand new ignition switch and it's getting power but the starter wont crank however if I have one of those starter button connected it works. I've got all the lights but the turns signals the hazards works kind of only 1 light flashes. So just wondering if there's someone around akron ohio that expirenced with electrical wiring that can take a look at it?

I would put a cold beer on it the ignition switch is out of adjustment and not pushing the plunger far enough.

Like the switch or the ignition cyl.

The electrical part of the switch. The bolt holes are slotted, slide it up the column and see if it cranks.

It it an automatic trans car? Hold the shift lever up in park and try to crank. Also, if that doesn't work, put your foot on the brake and crank while moving the shift lever through the gears or jump the neutral safety switch. I would chock the wheels or raise the drive wheels while trying this.

The tumbler could be worn out and not moving the rod far enough.
