This approval gives you full access to the site, to pictures, and to post, among other things. According to the Dutch public vehicle information data base he's still owns the car, so this should be Roger:

I think we got my account figured out now...

New member (and 'newer' Buick owner) here, and damn thankful to have found this Buick forum. I'm sure it will help me learn a TON of new things during my years of upcoming ownership. I will peruse the forums and will ask questions if I cannot find the answers I need.

I purchased a 1970 Buick GS455 back in April of this year, and absolutely love it. Long story short, I was saving up for 'something' for over 4 years... with an 'approved plan' (by the wife) to be able to buy that 'something' in Spring of 2023, just before my 50th birthday. Well, my wish came true. I found this absolute beauty in Indy in April, drove down to see her... and fell in love. She sounds as mean as she looks, runs terrific and have been enjoying it for a few months now. 77K original miles, original body panels, Protect-o-plate, Schott wheels, 3" Quiet-Flow SS exhaust... was very nicely restored, incredible paint job and very-well maintained over the years. The only thing it 'needed' was an alternator. Other than that, a things here and there to make her "mine"... and just enjoying it. Love the rumble sitting at a stop light, gives me chills just thinking about it!

Anyways, I thank you all in advance for your patience in helping me learn different things regarding owning a classic car. My Dad passed when I was 17, taking away the possibility of gaining the knowledge that he had about cars. This is also a tribute to him, and I'm sure he's looking down smiling knowing he'd love it as much as I do.

I think it will be better if you open your own thread on the board.
Now you're posting in an old thread by another member, so you will not get a lot of attention from other board members.

Go to the main page of the "Wet behind the ears??" section of the board
and click on the Post New Thread (green arrow) button to create a new thread.
Copy and paste your introduction text + photos from your post above in the new thread [IMG]
