I am new here...........just purchased a 67 GS from New Orleans, yep, got it out 10 days before Katrina hit. I am looking for a few items, first, a tach that fits into the center console and second, the "GS 400" plastic emblems (clear & chrome) that are on the doors just above the arm rests. Also, I live in Va. looking for someone who could restore my console and instrument panel. Any other tips would be greatly appreciated. I can send pics if you would like to see the car.
Gs Saved thanks for saving a gs from the graveyard . that tach may cost you a few bucks a broken one sold recently on ebay for 250.00 as for the door emblems you should be able to get them from yearone or original parts group for less then 30.00 you can find restorers in the back of hemmings good luck :TU:
The door emblems are not reproduced at this time. The '67 version should say GS 400 and the '68 version just says "GS". The '68 version will fit the '67 in a pinch. Keep watching e-bay for them.
