Interesting TR-7 with Buick motor

The shipper guy delivered the TR-7 Sunday night ($585.00) to ship from Flint, Mich to Bowling Green, Ky, the car itself cost $500. Man these cars are ugly (I remembered seeing them when I lived in England) and now I own one, Even though I have a souped up 3.8 to put in it I'm going to get the 3.8 already in it started and see whats its like. Its got and aftermarket aluminum intake on it with a holley 4-barrel carb, lopey camshaft (according to previous owner), dual exhaust, turbo 350 transmission, and a 8" Mustang II rearend. Won't a 350 Buick motor fit in 3.8 mounts and vise versa? Think I'll get the tape measure out and do some checking today.

 

Yeah, man the moounts will work thats why I love the buick v6 cars like my 78 skyhawk. They are perfect Buick 350 candidates!
