    Hey Guys and Gals,

Since it is winter outside here in Northeast Ohio I have been playing on the net a bit more. The link below is an interesting Oldsmobile project. I am amazed how some people are able to start with round tubing and end up with a race car. WOW... take a look. Its an interesting read. Oh..... there are parts of this link that are "R rated". Borderline.. X. Just a word of warning. I have met most of the guys who chat on the ROP site and they are all great guys who love to race.

    Way cool John!

I've seen that car in the guy's signature, and consistently think of JW's avatar when he had George's car in it.

I love seeing cars like this come together out of nothing:Brow:

    Adam,

I thought about the pictures that Jim had posted of Goerge's car also. I wish I had the talent and patience that it would take to build such a car.

The owner of this project is hoping to see some 8.20s to 8.30s 1/4 mile passes with a normally aspirated small block Olds. Thats pretty damn fast. I am not certain but I think a friend of mine Andy Miller is helping out with the engine in this car. He is by far the most knowledgable engine guy that I know. Hopefully with his help my car will be a bit faster next year

Those DX motors are a nice combo.........I won't be surprised to see that car go right into the 8's.
Seems to have the right people involved and the right parts picked out to reach their mid 8 second goal.
