I have obtained the rights to produce Kenne Bell's Stage 2 hood scoops using the original tooling. If I were to have a run of scoops made, how many people would be interested? I haven't called yet for pricing or anything, just trying to gauge preliminary interest.

EDIT: This is my 1,111-th post lol.

I have a nice hood just waiting for one! Depends on price, though. Not looking to break the bank for one. I really don't think you can loose on this one, stamping is cheap, it's not a complicated part to make, so price should be reasonable. Get some pricing and do the numbers, I think you will get more interest with a price tag...

I'm already running one but a back up is never a bad idea.

It would have to be priced right. If you "sticker shock" everyone, it will be a waste of your time.

If this goes through, you should try to make them a bit more heavy-duty. A couple extra layers of mat couldn't hurt.

I know VFN's aren't the greatest, and they're pretty thin. I'd be willing to bet people would pay a little extra for a part that is built a little better.

Anybody got a pict of such a thing? (Re: Kenne Bell Stage 2 Hood Scoops?)

Dear Mike and V-8 Buick members,

    *Sniff*, I've been following this thread . . . . *hopin'*

Doesn't anybody have a picture of these scoops? Lots of you old timers know exactly that this item is but . . . . . what about us newcomers?

At first, I couldn't imagine any interest in such a thing, but as I keep watching things on this forum . . . . now I'm not so sure!

    Cheers, Edouard :beer

"The Cook Buick Archives" has a copy of the original sales flyer from Kenne Bell for the Stage 2 scoop. Sorry, the scoop picture looks like a big black spot on the flyer. But the backside has 3 pictures of Ollie C.'s GSX with the scoop installed

Thanks for the pic (Re: Kenne Bell Stage 2 Hood Scoops?)

    Thanks Jason,

It turns out that would not be my cup of tea, but the only way I could have known is indeed to see an example in action. So I do appreciate the info!
