Thats where I should be was that on the flow sheet or was that measured by the shop that dyno'd your engine?

My Stage 2 SE's are 240cc also. My cam rule has a net lift of only .530 and the carb allowed is stock Holley 850 so that becomes my limiting factor.

    Hey Everyone,

My Stg4s have a 264 cc intake runner. The .300 number is in the 220s and the .650 number is mid 350s.

Here is a question for you guys... What bore are you flowing your cylinder heads on? And where is the cylinder head placed on that bore?

I ask because I have alway had problems getting a Buick cylinder head to flow any additional air after .650 lift. I thought this was caused by the valve moving out of the cylinder head and getting closer to the cylinder wall. So one day just playing around we moved the cylinder head away from the wall and the numbers went up. Anyone else find this?

    Thanks,
    John

    Hey There Tex,

That data was supplied on the flow sheet as recieved.
The heads were re-tested in Alberta, but not on the same port runners as the original flow sheet...
The peak intake numbers were slightly lower on the different ports tested. -7cfm. Exhaust #'s were very close.
Unfortunately I wasn't there to witness the tests at the shop in Alberta but I should have had the original ports retested....

The next time the heads are off, I'll have Skaling re-flow them on the Torque Master bench.

Really lookin forward to your dyno session Terrance. :Brow: I'll bet your power numbers will be all time tops for a Stg 1 SE headed motor.

    Graham,
I can only hope so. I videoed my heads being flowed here in Texas I'll post them when I get home along with the sheets that should have the bore size. and show how they where mounted to the flow bench. So can see if this was done correctly.

You may be able to get past that .650" barrier but it will cost you your numbers at .300.......
