Getting ready to install the PP latex door weather strip on my 71 skylark hardtop and I'm looking for tips on doing it right. I purchased some 3m super black adhesive but really unsure if I need it. Any feedback from those who have done this ; did you use adhesive and where (around pins, corners, ends, etc.) Probably making more out of this project than I need to but the last metro weather strip install didn't seal right (road noise) ...
    Thanks for any help!

Wow, super quiet..... Shall we try "Knock Knock"? :
Knock Knock; whos there? Anyone who? Bowling Green Gone?

Don’t bother with adhesive with the exception maybe the top front down to where it goes completely vertical. I usually install them totally dry.

Many thanks for your thoughts and ideas; sounds like minimal is the way to go. I'm guessing the reason you sometimes glue the front is that it is a common point of separation or wind noise.... I'm hoping the new softer latex will provide some extra coverage and sound deadening.
