I had a conversation with Logan at CARS last month about reproducing both overflow hoses and will also throw these Z bar seals Cook sold me last year in the box when I ship.

He seemed very receptive and from what I've seen, CARS typically holds up their end of the deal.

As you well know, these seals are unobtanium and I think they'd sell well.

    Stay tuned...

From the depths of the parts dept. I've never seen another set of NOS seals and I've been doing this for a couple years.

Thanks for getting the ball rolling on this stuff.

I just got off the phone with CARS.

The goods were delivered Monday and from what I'm told, Logan has already begun the process. They said I should hear something solid with a month or so.

I would be so nervous mailing that boot, that is the second one I ever seen.

    Yes, Sir.

You should think about sending your shifter boot at some point.

Providing you're the one who has one. Haha

Trust me: it was tracked and I made DAMN well sure to follow up today.

I was happy with the response.

I have a decent but torn one that Fritz (@STAGE III) lent me. I'm supposed to be getting another used but not torn one for my car but could still use 2 new ones. I don't know Logan (or anyone @ Cars) so would have to see if they're interested. I figured I was going to have to have them done myself but I'd rsther not. Do you happen to have an email for him?

I can call in a couple weeks. I caught him on the way out the door for vacation yesterday.

Explain how they're different or would be better than the repros currently available and I'll give him my sales pitch next time I talk to him.

    Yeah me too.
United Parcel Smashers (ups) lost my brake master cylinder a couple of weeks ago. Not my choice to use them cause I NEVER would.
They couldn't even make it 100 miles!

Shipping anything in this country nowadays is extremely risky!

Hey Woody.. I understand why you don't feel comfy with UPS.
I bought a Complete, Restored and Painted Intake Manifold, with all the Brass Hardware on it, 18 years ago on Ebay. They Delivered it alright.., but my wife called me at work and told me it was Delivered. I had her put it in the Garage for me. I forgot about it until 90 days later. When I lifted it upI knew I was in Trouble. It was Super Lightweight and taped with a cheap clear tape,. It looked like it had been packaged by a 5 year old.
I opened it up and Confirmed my Suspicions... you Guessed it,.. It was Empty. They said They couldn't find my Manifold Anywhere.
Lessons Learned.. Don't Ship Heavy Stuff or Valuable Stuff.
