Anyone know the inlet thread size for stock 71 GS 4bbl qjet? 7041544 The thread in the carb that the filter screws into, not the line into the filter.
There are two different fittings depending on the year of the carburetor. https://quadrajetparts.com/inlet-fitting-long-p-136.html https://quadrajetparts.com/long-inlet-fitting-p-436.html?osCsid=70bdf67d391bbe6f68d9b5c811e1026f (72 and later) The early 7/8" fittings use a gasket to seal. The later 1" uses an internal seal that goes onto the end of the fitting. They seal much better.
