Hey guys. As usual I am looking for the assitance of members from this forum for my 70 Chevelle SS (SORRY!)

I am in the need of the front and rear set of window regulators as I replace all my glass. I can find the front set but the rear is driving me crazy locating. Any ideas where to search as all the vnedors I contacted have what I need on back order! Thanks, Steve

Do you need just the regulators or do you need the guides and everything? And if you need everything is it a Coupe or a convertible?

I probably have everything for the fronts and rears.

Car is a coupe and at the moment I am getting ready to replace "all" the glass (at $1300) not including install as it does not look clear like it should. My D/S rear regulator is stripped so I thought it might be best to just replace all the regulators when new glass is installed. I honestly have no idea as to what else I might need as the other windows seem to be OK. I just want to do this once and correctly. I have bought all new felt inserts for the windows and would appreciate any advice and or recommendations. Only place that has regulators for the rear is Ebay that I can see. Thanks Steve

The ones I have are all used. I have always put used ones back in my cars when restoring them.

The driver side front window usually gets all the use.

I will PM you my number in case you want to call me.

If the rollers and regulators are good I bet you are better off with originals. I would bet the aftermarket are flimsy. Just clean the old grease off and install new grease. Get the tool to remove and install the mounts for the glass. It can be done with needle nose pliers but not as easy or safe. I am sure Duane can pick you out some nice ones.
