    yeah, i started another thread for the same problem :p
    Just want to make sure alot of people read it lol

    Are the dist on a 455, and 350 interchangeable?

    We come to the conclusion that either the timing has jumped(which we would have no idea how)
    OR that a 455 and 350 dist, dont have the same amount of teeth?

    So the gears on it ARE different?
    If we put the 455 straight in..it wouldnt work?

    No a 455 has 13 teeth and a 350 has 14 teeth if I remember right.....where in OK are you if you don't mind?

    Ohhhhhhhhh i hope your right LOL. ill know tomarrow when i count em..But i dont wanna wait to know lol.

    V6 225/231, V8's 215, 300, 340, 350 use a gear with 14 teeth.

    V8's 400, 430, 455 use a gear with 13 teeth.

    And, now you know.

    Be careful when using a small block dist in a big block, aside from the gear, the mechanical curves between one family to another can vastly differ.
