I'm getting used to the new layout, but have one question

looking at the master list of forums, some of the icons are blue, some are a light, pastel purple. But either color may or may not have new, unread posts as near as I can see. Is there any way of getting a clearer icon indicating whether there are unread posts in the forum? Now I just go to every forum, look if any of the envelopes have letters sticking out or the title is in bold and determine whether I want to open and read or go back.

A significant difference say red, would be better than a light blue to a light purple lcon.

Look at the bottom of the forum, it shows what each one is.

 

OPPs, sorry it use to, but the new forum does't show them, sorry for sending you there.

 

Why not just use the "What's New" link at the top of the page?

 

All I see are gray and light blue indicators, the blue forums having new posts. This is on the Main Page.
