Anybody have any experience with a set of those "Parts Lists" available on ebay? Like this one... http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2221047124&category=418 How much do they cover? and how useful are they really?
i bought the 73-74 B-C body set of sheets. they are pretty good. mine are from the "mitchell" manual. i have only found 2 parts that were incorrect in the explanation of the part. they dont give fastener applications and torque specs so dont expect to use them for much more than body part indentification. not much engine, transmission or wiring related in them. "master parts" manuals cover alot more, including stuff like wiring harnesses and interior trim part numbers.
one was poorly listed last week and i scored it from ebay for 21 bux ... most of the time they hit between $50 and $100 .... but the cool thing is, they cover from the 60s to 1975 so you are not just buyin for a year or two.
60's to 70's, how BIG is one? Sounds like it'd be a foot thick! I'll give you $22 for yours, heck, $25! :Brow:
about 4.5 inches thick .... 9 pounds. you might check your old buick dealers and see if they still have the old microfiche for your year ... then buy ya a viewer or go to the library with your digital camera to view them.
