    Doug-

That is a solid looking launch! I know someone else recently made the same comment, but man does your car launch straight. That frame must be seriously rigid, let alone some fine suspension tuning.

Congrats again on hitting a new record! :beer

Good luck with the body/paint work over the winter.

    I like Gary's pictures.............Gary who?

All that with that 2-speed.........That is the torque from that 4.400 crank making that car work so well.

I really think I like the 65 Skylark/GS body the best.

What's on the agenda for the winter?

Thanks for the comments, folks. Gary, I'm installing fiberglass doors and fenders and getting the car painted. Engine-wise, I'm bringing the motor back to Scotty Guadagno to dis-assemble and inspect it. I've got no indications that anything's wrong, but if you'd blown apart as many motors as I have, you want to cover all the bases. Of course, while it's apart, I just can't let it go back together without trying to make more power, so there's a cam change in it's future. Scotty just happens to have one that he feels will work well for my combination. :TU:

That is an awesome shot.I'd hang that baby on the wall and it will be a constant reminder of the 1st 8's you ripped off.Who are you going to get the glass doors from? Do they have 70 glass doors too?I knew you would get those 8's.Wonder what Mike G will think now?He has a big plate to step up to,but I wouldn't count him out.

Pat, I got the doors and fenders already. They do have '70 doors as well as everything else for 70-72. The place is called WS Racing. Check them out at wsracingfiberglass.com.

Thats great news Doug. I am saving for one of their 71 front bumpers and now will have to add the doors to the list.I look at it this way thats lots less rust issues to deal with as well as weight savings too.
    Thanks,Pat:TU:
