A Pontiac wagon, built in Canada with a 409???? I know Pontiacs built in Canada were basically Chevys back then, but still...never heard of a Chevy wagon with a 409!!! Guy(Car dealer) doesn't really talk about how rare it must be...IF it came with that motor.... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Pont...oryZ6386QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
Yep, that is a real car. 61, 62, 63, 64 Pontiacs of Canada were basically Pontiac-skinned Chevrolets. Look at the 63 Chevy steering wheel in it. The inner fenders, frame, running gear, parts of the interior, etc. were all Chevy. They made a few of these 63 wagons with 409s and a 4-speed. Way cool. Check out these guys http://www.bruneauperformance.ca/ They break down these cars in great detail, and have had some very very cool cars in the past. Enjoy! Matt
I had an original 66 Pontiac Parisienne, the owners manual listed the 427/435 h.p. tripower as an optional engine!!! Adam.
When on the Bruneau Performance website, on the menu on the left, there is a section labeled 'About 61-64 Canadian Pontiacs'. Some very cool info there. Matt
WOW!!!!! Wonder how many were made???? Only Canadian cars I ever hear about down here are the Arcadians(Nova's to anyone who hasn't heard of them)Those, and Mercury trucks of all things!
