Do you ever want to go pummel the hell out of an a-hole eBay seller ??? :af: I sure do.

    [Rant On]

I've been buying and selling on eBay for 7 years. NEVER had a negative feedback - 100% positive. So in November, I'm looking for some Meyer plow stuff for my 1st gen Dodge plow truck. You can't get it new anymore, so off to eBay I go. I end up winning a complete cylinder hoop, lower frame brackets and lower cross brace for $112.50. Not a bad deal. So I ask the guy if I sent him $200, would that cover shipping. He says YEP. Out goes a postal MO for $200. He then emails me to say that because it is so heavy it is gonna have to go truck freight. No problem, how much more ? I need to get these pieces as I'm between customer stuff and wanna get this crap installed so that I don't have to worry about it when the snow flies. He tells me it's gonna cost another $225 for shipping. So right now, I'll be into the whole mess for $425...$300+ for shipping alone. Whatever, I need it. So finally (that's another story.... ) the stuff shows up via UPS ! No truck freight -- friggin' UPS. I'm kinda pissed, but oh well, I got my stuff. Open up the two boxes, and then I'm REALLY pissed. The two lower frame brackets that are supposed to be mirror images of each other (right/left) are PHYSICALLY different. At this point I have paid $425 for something that won't even bolt up to my f-ing truck. I email the guy once a week for three weeks to see if we can work something out. Not a single damn response to any emails. So I said "screw it", negative feedback it is. Knowing full well that I would get a negative in return. Well the jack@ss gives me negative feedback and sends me an email telling me that I made no attempt to contact him and that I must not know how to put the frame on. GAME ON dicktree ! I've never had to do it before, but I have now opened up a formal dispute thru eBay to at least try to recoup some of the money to make up for shipping. What this moron doesn't realize is that I save EVERY piece of email, documentation, money order receipts, UPS receipts, etc. for all of my transactions. AND I print out the actual UPS shipping docs to keep on file. I also have a great affinity for making knobs like this look like complete fools. I have everything to back this up with raw facts. He's just spouting nonsense. First he says the crap weighed 150#, then it was 250# (extra $$$ sent), finally the UPS docs show it was 130#. If anyone lives near Drum, PA, I would gladly pay you Tuesday for a pile of dog crap on his porch today. :blast:

    Stupid idiots ...........

How much for say..... I don't know ??? 5 yards of road salt delivered and spread like a blanket across a "friend" of mines yard. I know I would havta pay a premium for a 2am delivery in an unmarked truck. I'm fine with that ....... If you have a truck with a brine sprayer, that would be even funner .......... :Brow: :beer

One question is how was his feedback and how many transaction did he have? Please post the member's name so we can stay away from this guy, AL.

"skeeter788" is his screen name. Been an eBay member for a year and a half. Has 8 negative feedbacks for 300ish transactions.

I found the transaction and read all his feedback and I will say I would have never bid on any of his auctions. He had a lot of neutrals and that is a big red flag because the members that give neutral many time would send negative but are afraid to and a word to the wise, sending a neutral will get you a nagative in many cases. So in short you need to read all the member's feedback before bidding and I clearly saw a red flage on the member. Don't get upset by this post, I'm only tring to help with my expearance :Smarty: :beer AL.

There is a lesson to learn on this Ebay transaction :Smarty: . Always look at the member's feedback before bidding on the auction. I clearly saw the member "skeeter788" was trouble and I would not have bid on any auction he started because of the feedback he got from others he has delt with. The feedback told it all, I read all the negitives and nuetrals and saw a pattern of not being a good seller with poor follow up questionable items. I wish you the best and hope you can straighten out this mess. I would also see if the member would mutually agree to remove the negitive from your score, AL.

Casey . . . did you go through the usual eBay avenues to complain about this guy? Or did you go straight to the Feedback Forum?

And did you pay with a Postal money order? There are legal issues you can take, I believe, due to the federal implications.

Scum shouldn't get away with anything, and I am glad you left a neg. Too many people are afraid of retaliation, but then the scum get away scot-free.

I agree with you to a point. As I posted earlier there were many red flags present on the feedback forum on this bag of dirt and I would not have bid on his auction. Dealing with sellers like that is like they say you play in s**t you get s**t on your fingers! AL.

    Wow, talk about SERVICE!

I drive into Hot Springs once or twice a week for church....Just outside of town on the Eastbound side of the Highway, someone spraypainted "THIEF" in large letters, with an arrow pointing into some guy's driveway. I though it was great, and a good reminder to the fool who thought he was "getting away with it." Dan
