I recently bought a muncie m21 out of a 69 chevelle to swap into my 72 buick skylark. It came with a hurst shifter however im having trouble identifying what kind of shifter it is in order to buy the proper linkage arm kit. Do I need to identify it in order to do this? Or will any old hurst kit work properly as long as its for an M21?
    Id appreciate the input, thanks!

Post a few pics to help us be sure, but I would think the shifter would work. Is it sloppy? Now is the time to rebuild it if has not been.

Linkage will be the same 70-72, and have provision for reverse lock out, so be sure to get that.

Shift shafts on the trans need to be the later style also which have threaded holes for bolts, not studs, to attach the shift linkage tabs.
