This approval gives you full access to the site, to pictures, and to post, among other things. To be able to enjoy the full potential of the board for you, you need to be fully registered.. and that's easy.. Just send an email to me at jim@trishieldperformance.com and I will verify your registration. This policy will remain in effect indefinitely, as it has completely eliminated the bad actors from our site, who would spam and hack it, once they gained access. Thanks JW

I think i solved it?

rdj59 It's like sex on ice

So last night i took the car on a short cruise to see if the problem got any better and it didn't. So i disconnected the mech secondaries and ran on the primaries and guess what, it would run up to its redline finally but still didn't exactly like it. But when i would drive it at a constant speed it would miss every once and a while. So now i know it is a fuel delivery and not an ignition problem.
Today i decided to pull the top of the carb and found that the carb had 79 jets in the front and in the rear. So i switched the front jets with the 70 from my other 750 and presto, thorotle was crisp, acceleration was good till around 3500 when it need 2 more barrels but it never stumbled. Tomorrow i'm going to get 2 more 70 jets to put in the rear and also pick up 2 2.5 inch power valves. and mess with the idle.
It runs real rich at idle, it will burn your nose and make your eyes water. I screwed both of the idle mixture screws all the way in expecting the car to die out and it run a little rougher but didn't stall. This tells me that it is running off of the main system and that is probably making my 5.5 power valve open at idle. Tomorrow i'll try to set it up so no more than .040 of the transition slot is exposed.
Though i'd give an update of how such a simple thing made my life hell for a month. :error:
    Thanks Jeramie
