So I am a teamster from local 282 and the company I worked for was confiscated by the US Marshall. The bum I worked for turned out to be the guy that took down like 60 Gambino family members. So I am sitting home collecting unemployment.

In case anyone can help I live in Central N.J. and have a class B with passenger endorsment.

    Thanks Joe

My fingers are crossed for ya. I wish you luck! Does Class B mean you drive 18 wheelers?

I own a home here in N.J. And my son lives in Virginia.

The 282 hall doesn't do much for us. It is slow all around here.

I'd go hit up a bunch of cabinet shops. They always go through drivers like water because people don't like the responsibility of scratching up 50 grand worth of odd shaped finished custom woodwork.

I have heard the energy boom has already started on the East coast, if this is true I would talk to the trade unions. If this is the case you could possibly work as a white card(not a member, just helping out), I think the trades are short handed nationwide. This may not be your first choice of work although it's good money until something in your profession comes along. Stay Union and stay Buick, Best of luck to you.

Alberta Canada is crying for people, the oils sands are sucking up anyone across Canada that has the three h's (hard hat, heart beat, hard toe boots). Maybe try recruiters or headhunters on line, shouldn't be a problem working in Canada as they are bringing in personnel from other countries? Mining is where its happening too, Northern Minnesota, Virginia/Hibbing area has huge open pit ops and should be looking for operators as well. Our area in Northwestern Ontario is typically a strong wood industry area but right now its in the toilet and mining is where its at because metal prices are through the roof. Good luck, Gord

Without knowing your situation, your probly not as lucky as I am to be single, mobile ect but if you are:

Yeah Like Gord Says we are crying for people here in northern alberta where I work. I have a freind who clears over $10,000 month as a labourer! At our plant in Ft Mcmurray Alberta we had another process operator quit for a higher paying job and he was making $36.00 per hour 12 hour shifts 6 days on 6 days off, double time for overtime! Grocery stores are paying $12-17 for anyone with a heartbeat!

Joe, What about a school bus driver or a real bus.
You could drive the kids from South Park :puzzled:

My neighbor works for Midco Garbage Disposal. He works in South Plainfield. I could ask if they need a driver. Not sure if your class B with passenger endorsment is enough :Do No: .

    Good Luck,
    Bob
