hi oliver, i'm currently putting a tremec 600 in my 455 sportwagon. your next big stumbling block may be the pilot bearing. if you type in pilot bushing you should find my post called pilot bearing wrong or right. my project has been held up 6 weeks but finally got answers on this site. buick guys seem to really want to help each other out. one of dave kleiners friends here in canada really helped me out with the linkage portion of my project. sometimes i think i bit off alittle more than i can chew with this project but i'm past the point of no return. phone me at 250 842 5757 during the day. maybe we can help each other. good luck pete
