Took this Friday afternoon on state route 94 in Ohio. Was about 25 degrees with light snow. Guess he was in the Christmas spirit!!
How many of us are guilty of using the extra cargo capacity putting the top down provides?

Merry Christmas to all!!!! John :beer

I should see if I have any old pictures. In my undergrad at the University of Toledo, I lived in the dorms. We had a platform loft (like a deck). The mattresses went on the floor underneath, and we put the furniture on top. We'd store the lumber in Toledo over summer break (I lived 100 miles away).

I'd put the top down on the 'Lark when setting up the room at the beginning of the year (or tearing down at the end). I'd have 4x8 sheets of plywood sticking up out of the back seat, haul full-sized couches, etc. Even made the 100-mile trek from home to school with a fiberglass fireplace sticking out of the back seat.

When I lived in Louisiana I went to get plywood to board up the windows before a hurricane in the 68 GS convert. They had it set up like a fast food drive through, and it was pretty funny sitting in a long line of pick up trucks. Should have taken a pic.
