Hi guys; I have never had a hydraulic cam to adujust except for this 462 buick with roller rockers. I have always with flat tappet cams and rollers. What is the proper procedure for adjusting a hydralic cam. I am sure this is an age old question but I still need an answer. Cam is TA 413 with TA roller rockers.Thanks. Ken:confused:

    Ken,
I have a nice article from the GS Extra with a procedure for adjusting valves on the Buick V-8. With adjustable pushrods, the adjustment is 1/2-3/4 turn past 0 lash. With roller rockers, I think it is 1/4 turn past 0 lash. In any case the procedure is quick and lets you adjust 4 valves at a time. Used it a bunch of times and shared it with friends. If you're interested shoot me an e-mail(address below) and I'll snail mail it to you.

The GSXtra only talks about adjustible pushrods mostly but from what Dave from TA had said it was about 1 3/4 turns past 0 lash between .30-.60 thousandths preload,is this correct?

    Thanks
