Im a little confused. Anyone familiar with Hurst nomenclature?

For example, I'm under the impression that a "super shifter" is basically a Competition Plus with a short handle, high mount mounting plate and straight rods. Is this not true?

I also have a couple of 4918777 shifter bodies that are stamped "Super Shifter" on the main case. These have a heavy spring that goes from the selector arm to the main case. Is this a Super shifter II?

Is there such a thing as a "Street Super Shifter" ?

The 4918777 i took apart was quite a bit different than a C/P. No reverse detent and no main pin spring. odd

Ive never had a Super shifter, but ive looked into them a bit. From what I know, you right. The actual shifter is the same as the Competition plus. It has a short, straight stick, higher mounting bracket, and straight rods. I believe Hurst currently calls them the Street Super Shifter.
