Hurst shifter

    What Hurst shifter and install kit is anyone using for 70 GS455 Muncie?

    Does your Muncie have bolt on levers or studs? I checked summit and couldn't find an install kit. The aftermarket has a reproduction kit that is nice. It is heavy duty and everything is plated it will cost about $240. Then a used shifter body would be about $75 and a new Hurst handle is $65 and up. Back drive linkage is extra. Maybe someone will chime in with a cheaper option.

    The stock lever is a 5335 which is not reproduced.

    kevin mcculloug 72 GS 455 Convertible

    OPGI website has it listed on sale right now for $200.99 I don't think they are buying up old ones and rechroming them, but I could be wrong.
