Anyone know of a way to look up a Hurst part number? I looked up the patent # (Nov, 1965). Maybe some of the old timers? Welded stick, part # X712 (X is NOT a 1, 4, 5, 7) and Comp Plus base 204532? I thought it looked like a Buick stick, but it is shorter. Does have the HURST logo in the bend..o No:
Pete Serio may be able to help on the x712 number, but the other one according to his book is random serial # with no meaning.:kodak: http://www.precisionpontiac.com/
Hey Ted, How's it going? I was able to figure out the shifter belongs to a corvette- either late 50's to mid/ late 60's.... The Hurst site and Hurst customer service was NO USE :af: ..... Thanks for the info!
