  2. In and effort to reduce the spam on the site, several years ago I had went to a program where I manually approve each and every new registration. This approval gives you full access to the site, to pictures, and to post, among other things. To be able to enjoy the full potential of the board for you, you need to be fully registered.. and that's easy.. Just send an email to me at jim@trishieldperformance.com and I will verify your registration. This policy will remain in effect indefinitely, as it has completely eliminated the bad actors from our site, who would spam and hack it, once they gained access. Thanks JW

    TrunkMonkey Totally bananas

Third party hosting and post a link to the image.

If you need some assistance, let me know and I'll try and provide some examples.

I own my own domain and host my photos myself.

In the past, I had Photobucket and they often would remove images from my account that were my images, with no explanation.

And then they began blocking any third party linking without subscribing with steep fees. (well after I started hosting my own).

I figure it is a matter of time before other hosting sites follow this behavior.
(I have no trouble with capitalism, but fair warning and maybe a stepped program of pricing, giving some "credit" to those who helped make them successful....)

    TrunkMonkey & flynbuick,
I am not a computer wise individual. Yes, I could use some "detailed instructions" (the simplest) re. uploading more than 1 photo; if you have the time, it would be appreciated. Richard

The problem is the photos you are trying to post are too large. 800 X 600 pixels is a good size for posting. You need a photo editing program. I use Irfanview. You can download it for free,

    http://www.irfanview.com/main_download_engl.htm

Once you have the program, editing pictures is easy.

    David G de-modded....

MS Paint also works just fine for resizing pics. It's on most PC's...

    Click Upload a file
Click on the folder on your computer where the picture is saved such as " pictures"
    Click Open
Click either thumbnail or Full Size
    Click on Post Reply

If you want to post more than one picture in the same post or conversation hold off on clicking "Post Reply" until you repeat the steps set forth above for each additional picture.
