This question seems to come up a lot so I prepared a picture that shows exactly how to recognise an 800cfm Quadrajet when you see one at a yard or swap meet. Look for the "bump" in the third venturi. It's a sure way to tell that you are looking at an 800cfm Quadrajet.

I learned that trick at a swap meet a couple summers ago. You'd be suprised how many people don't know that. You can get a real deal on an 800 then.
