Thanx for the reply. I was just thinking of manual trannys again. A 3 speed Muncie came in full size trucks (I think), with a 3:1 first, .57 2nd, and 1:1 third. Until a Richmond five speed can be had, it would be a good temp and get ya' shifting gears. Richmond 5 speeds are cool, 3.28:1 first, so fwy gear-happy.

    Thanx. again.

I just so happen to have one of these 3 speed muncies for sale. Cast iron case. Very strong units.:TU:

I got my wheels turning. But shipping from New Jersey to California would cost more than the trans. probably.

    Thanx Joe.

The trans is in illinois. I bet it wouldn't be more than 65 dollars.

Hey Joe. Is it in good, useable condition? Do you know if it is the 3:1 first gear?

John. I bought it on evilbay last year and the guy told me I should've gone through it, but claimed it was good.

Not sure whats in it but when it gets a little warmer, my buddy that has it will post us some pictures. So stand by.
