how smooth for vinyl top?

    i got mine peeled off,used acetone & other stuff i wont inhale :bglasses: the roof is like ,your first date with zits :laugh: my only other option is sanding the whole top down to bare metal?? do you REALLY need to have a perfect surface to apply a top thats got rough texture anyways? :Do No: as long as you glue it correct :confused:

    The smoother the better. Also this vinyl cover promotes rot and is not waterproof. If your top is already headed towards a case of rot I would sure fix it and prime it first.

    jim,the top (roof)is fine :TU: its just one of the few things i can do ,during winter :Dou: remember it snows here!!!& gets darn cold,brrrrr :Dou: plus,ive got to get it done to be presentable at the bellevue wa show!!!! damn,wheres my e. wa budys????? :puzzled:
