I've never been charged to pull on the truck scale at the county dump and check my cars there. Take all the junk out of the car, fill up the tank, and you'll get the curb weight. I pull on the scale, get out of the car and walk up to the window, and tell them I'm not dumping, just want to know the weight. They tell me, I thank them, and go. The 70 GS is 3860#, the 64 Riv is 4250#.
oooo...so close:grin: I was in the ballpark! I would expect a convertible to breach the 4800-5000lb mark.
