having the toe in @ 1.25total have on et/mph ? just did my alignment last night and thats were my toe was at. its now fixed. I'm hopefully going to the track tommorow to find out.
Are you saying 1 inch and .250 ". I don't see how you drove it. Weren't the tires squeeling? Ity should effect it a bunch if that is what it really was and you have it right now. Good l;uck JIm N.
yes inch and a quarter total, so 5/8 toe in each side. tires didn't squeal at all and it drove ok. it does drive a little nicer now though. it was wearing the outsides of the tires. i never checked it after putting moroso drag springs in, i was waiting for the springs to settle.
It's one of those things that in theory would have a big effect on ET but don't expect a big difference.....Let us know.
yikes...Mr. Toe's wild ride! Thats alot. You'd better get that adjusted before you wear your tires down like erasers
thanks, i'm not expecting much, but hoping for a little. when i got done setting toe at ride height, i jacked it up from the crossmember to simulate going down the track and the toe came in .70" . if it helps et enough i'll have to bring it back to work and play aroung with it some more.
You need to work on it to get rid of the bump steer, toe change with suspension travel. That is done by the relationship of the pivot point of the inner tie rod end and the mounting point of the outer tie rod end on the steering arm. It took some work, but I got most of it out of my 67. Jim N.
doesn't look like it changed much at all. mph very little change, hard to tell by et cause the track wasn't hookin well today, even the big slick cars were blowin the tires away. it did drive a lot nicer on the way to the track.
