I think my brother is using one from a late 80's early 90's V8 firebird.

I run a stock 307 olds radiator (AC, heavy duty cooling etc) and shroud (trimmed heavily) with a 455 and I have no problems with cooling.

... I ALSO USED THE STOCK 87' REGAL/OLDS V8 RADIATOR ON MY 1ST 455REGAL (built by Scotty at Pee-Gee Performance at the time). IT LEAKED FROM 2 COOLING CORES 2 DIFFERENT OCCASIONS; DUE TO NO$$$ AT THE TIME, I BOUGHT A RECONDITIONED/GUARANTEED junk-yard ($80) 4-CORE HD RADIATOR, WHICH GAVE NO PROBLEMS WITH COOLING TILL THE DAY SOME IDIOT STOLE IT:(.

THIS TIME AROUND, I GO WITH THE "GRIFFIN" APPLICATION (With this 462Regal, I have a high-stall convertor, and more duration/lift than the Lunati cam I got from Pee-Gee/TA).

THE SHOP THAT BUILT MY PRESENT "462" STATED THAT LUNATI CAMS CAUSES "stock" ROCKER ASSEMBLY ISSUES (EVEN THOUGH 2 OF MY DRIVER'S SIDE ROCKERS WERE "SPINNING" THEN REPLACED BY SCOTTY, I LOOOOVED THE WAY THAT LUNATI CHOPPED & SOUNDED AT 3200rpm!!!!).

MY NEW 462 WAS GIVEN A "POSTON" CAM ... WITH NO COMPLAINTS.:bglasses:
