what i am thinking is that i will get a wc t-5 from an 88-92 f-body from a junkyard and see how that will hold. they are rated at about 305 torque. some people at thirdgen.org are pushing around 400 ft lbs of torque with out problems. from what i have read, i would like to try the t-5 with the 4.10 gears and go from there. i know there is 17 degrees built into the shifter to compasate for the 17 degrees in the f-body bell housing. so i will correct that. the only question i have is will the t-5 bolt to the bop bell housing and what is a good price for a t-5 and bop bell housing :3gears: . Thanks Jeramie

One of the guys on the H-body site did the T-5 swap into a Vega or Monza. Made a template to compensate for the 18 degree "tilt". As to being able to bolt up on a stock bellhouse, can't say. Your 350 shouldn't break the trans unless it's been built up.
