Horrendous 1970 "GS" convertible

    So you're the one who bought my hat back then!!!!!

    As for platforms--here is a short story-- back in 74, thats 1974 to the young ones on this board, I was racing against a 440/6 Cuda. He was doing pretty well, pulling away from my GS when all of a sudden he missed a shift and of course I won the race. How did that happen you ask!! Well he broke a heel on his platforms!!! Gotta love the 70's Of course at the time we all thought it was a bummer!!

    now there's what I've been waiting for!!! Ditch the SUV------ that "thing" has more ground clearance than my wife's Durango!!!!!:blast: :blast: :blast: :Dou: :rolleyes: :spank: :shock: :Do No: :confused: :eek:

    The more I look at that orange Skylark the more I am thinking those tires must hit the frame rails on turns. I bet you have to make large turns. I don't think there is much clearance between the tire and front fender lips. :grin:
