I recently bought a bolt-on Glasstek GS hood for my Sun Coupe project. I know that will require lighter hood hinge springs which are readily available from TPP and others. Any words of warning from those that have used that combo already? I know I'd need to be extra cautious when lowering the hood, just hoping there isn't a track record of hood issues out there. Are there particular springs anyone would recommend, or all of them the same part from the different vendors? Those advertised as being used with fiberglass hoods that is. Thanks. Dan
I have a set of hood springs for glass hood if interested. Bought from a board member here, but, never used them. PM if interested.
