Alright guys and gals, wish us luck. Me and my lovely wife Stephie are getting ready for our first child, and it's due any day now. Sometime between a week and 16 days according to the docs here. So keep your fingers crossed and think happy thoughts:laugh: The one and only, El Brado
Kids.................I forgot what life was like before them. I wouldn't trade off being a parent for anything! They are the greatest! Good Luck!
Good luck, and congratulations :beer Parenting is the most rewarding experience in life. Lots of learning curves, but well worth it :TU: Do you know if it's a boy or girl?
Thanks for the good wishes guys, we appreciate it, I'll tell you I've got the jitters, I'm a bundle of nerves. We're down here in Kerrville, about an hour NW of San Antone. It's gonna be a little boy, Cadyn Stanley Davis. We just got 12 trash bags of clothes and about 700 diapers and about 6 bags of toys, and baby furniture galore, I've got stuff sitting in every room of the house. So we're ready, now it's just the waiting...
Get used to it. My living room is an obstacle course :Brow:    Best wishes for a speedy delivery with no complications :TU:
Congrats!!:TU: Absolutely the most rewarding happening in my life ever. I have two daughters myself. Your life will change like you have never imagined. Remember the main word is patience my son. Best of luck and health to you all!!:beer
Hey Shades, do this: Sit in your living room and read a car magazine. Then forget about ever having a peaceful moment to do it for the next 20 years! One kid is a cakewalk. God, 3 is a sheer test of wills. Very rewarding, but you MUST have a high boiling point. Kids will test you daily. Pick your battles. And congrats!:beer
Yep, sounds like first time parents to me:laugh: We did the same thing.... Probably all first time parents do. Me and the wife must have spent $10,000 on ALL the baby stuff.... Fancy Crib, nursery, toys, etc. By the time our 5th came along, we were "expirenced",,, and sooo far beyond all the fancy baby stuff. I think the total investment on the last child was in the $300 range for the entire first year... 1 used crib 3 or 4 bags of used baby clothes 5 packages of cloth diapers 1 used car seat Breast-feeding supplies And a $10 stroller from Wally-mart That's it.... Really! No formula to buy because of breast-feeding, No diapers to buy, just bleach and laundry detergent... No kidding. Good luck:TU:
Congratulations to you two...make sure he or she grow to enjoy the Buicks. Good luck and much joy once again.
We've already planned ahead for when he wants his first car. $1000 and a set of autozone tools.
