    Alan:

I switched to a Quick Fuel Q series 950. Been fighting a stumble on launch, for some time now. Thought carb would help. Didn't solve my problem out of the box, but carb was much more streetable out of the box. Swapped pump cams and squirters and got a bit closer, but still had stumble. Running very lean, but ran a personal best of 11.54 against a 15 mph headwind.

Found a local "Guru" to help tune the carb. Jetted up 4 sizes on both sides. I am now spot on with the jetting and have no stumble on launch. Coan converter is still a touch too tight, (Guru says that adding more stall will really get the 4,000 beast moving.) will pull it and add 400 more rpm for next season.

Going to GLD this next weekend for the last big event. Track should be prepped well, as there will be wheel standers on the program. Looking for 11.40's or??? We can all dream can't we???!!! If I launch in the low 1.60's or a high 1.5, I should be there.
