I' looking for a 850cfm Holley double pumper if anyone has a spare. I don't want to spend full blown retail on a new one if I can avoid it.
I have a HolleyHP 4150 950 cfm. It’s ready to bolt on and go. It’s my understanding that Holley ran these at a higher atm pressure to get to 950 cfm, in order to keep up with Demon. In reality it’s more like an 830. It ran great on a Stage 2 455. The price is $450.00 plus the ride.
Well,if it does not work out with Izanurse,I have a 850 double pumper ,its in my car right now.I was told that these old 850 go to about 950 CFM as they are.The reason?I got a Christmas present,a Quick Fuel,so I will be taking the Holley out.Bruno.I can show you the car running with the carb in the car still.Bruno.
I have, have this carb forever,it was in the car when I got it,I clean it up,changed some jets its been there all the time.I did not ask for this carb,my son and a good friend sprung this surprise to me at Christmas eve.I told them I did not need it,but they were adamant about it.Their reason was that the 850 has no air adjustment in the back bowls .Go figure.This car,over 4000 pds has gone 11.70 with stock fuel line and stock S-1 fuel pump and this carb.I just put a bigger cam,better valve springs ,port matched the intake,about 10 to 1 compression,worked S-1 original GD 455 heads,and original transmission..Bruno.
