This approval gives you full access to the site, to pictures, and to post, among other things. To be able to enjoy the full potential of the board for you, you need to be fully registered.. and that's easy.. Just send an email to me at jim@trishieldperformance.com and I will verify your registration. This policy will remain in effect indefinitely, as it has completely eliminated the bad actors from our site, who would spam and hack it, once they gained access. Thanks JW

I was told to use bronze distributor gear to prevent cam gear wear with big pump. Ok except it wore fast! Replaced once a season and it needed it! Could have shaved with it....teeth were so sharp. Went to booster plate and stock gears and iron distributor gear and no more issues.
BTW you can check dist/cam gear wear by moving the dist rotor. I got good at it.....

You mean the Oracle? You don't need a write up. A picture is worth a thousand words.

Why not just drill a .020 hole in the oil gallery plug on the passengers side? Simple and works great.

Max Damage I'm working on it!

I also run the high volume pump in my 350 car, and I also run Mobil1 15/50. going on 40,000 miles with this setup. It's s driver, not a racer however. I was a bit worried to see all the critique of the high volume setup here, so thanks Mark for having my back!

See the first sentence in Mark's post? Anyone running a HV/HP pump needs to do that.
