Hello Everyone. New to this board have been a GSCA member since 1982. First car was a 1972 Skylark 350. Then sold that car to get a 1971 GS Stage 1. Sold that one to get a 1970 Stage1. Which I have owned since 1984.

    Welcome to the Board!:TU:

If you would, help us keep on a friendly, first name basis by posting your name (1st at least) to the bottom of your posts!

You didn't by chance, ever race that car at an NMCA World Finals in Memphis, TN did you?? There was a guy with a 70 Stage 1 car from Houston there back in Sept. of 91. Car ran 13.38 @ 105mph. If I remember, the car had 70k miles on it too.

Either way, glad you joined us!!:bglasses:

Welcome to the V8Buick board Mark!

Is your GS a factory Stage1 car? If so, I'm maintaining a factory Stage1 registry and I'd like you to register your GS. Please see my website or this V8Buick post for additional details.

It's important we document the survivors.

Thanks, and please reply (or send me an e-mail 455stage1@comcast.net).

    Marco,

I will have to get the info from the Sloan Museum. When I eventually get all the info I will be sure to email you with details.

Do you know what approximate cost is from Sloan

    Thanks

    Thanks Mark.

They charged me $15 in Nov 2000. I don't know how much they charge now. Sloan documentation is preferred, but not required. Also, the VIN needs to be before 193,xxx (Build 12A) for Sloan to have your stuff - I know Wayne charges at least $30, maybe even more to document the late '70 model year cars.

You can shoot me the cowl data plate info, full VIN, and sales codes, and how you know it's a Stage1 (either Sloan, 'SS' block, 'BB' trans, window sticker, P-O-P, whatever - it's all good)

Please let me know if you have any questions/concerns.

    Thanks again!
