Help tuning a 2-bbl

I recently acquired a new (used) '68 Sportwagon, with the 350-2. However the carb will need some tuning. The engine is a '72, in case that makes a difference.

Right now, there is a big vacuum leak inside the car, on the A/C control panel thingy. I have a feeling that the previous owner brought the car to his mechanic, told him that the engine bogs, and the mechanic made the carb run rich as a pig to compensate for the leak.

I am going to do things the right way (i.e. repair the vacuum leak), but once I do that I will need to tune up the carb. I have never worked on the 2-bbl carb (as my other Buick has had FI since 1992).

How do I tune the carb? I can figure out how to tune the idle mixture okay, but how do I adjust the running (i.e. mid-throttle / highway driving) mixture? Or, are there no other adjustments? Please don't confuse me with terminology, either...

What about the accelerator pump? It seems to work fine for now, but will I need to make some sort of adjustment?

    Thanks,
