I am making an attempt to put a dual exhaust sytem on my 1956 driver Buick Special with 322 engine/ auto I found a rear exit manifold and can clear all but the starter.

I tried using a late model starter from a 401 and can not bolt up.

    ???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

Is there a "MINI" starter or a way to use another make starter with remote solinoid ?

    Thanks !

    manifold

Hi.I am pretty sure the 56 century had duals as standard equipment so I guess the best thing to do is try to locate a manifold for a Century. I think they were exclusive to the 56 as it was the first year of ''y'' design ...good luck ....Stu.

Check with Tom Telesco. He sells ministarters for the nailhead. He is on the Buick Nailhead forum.
