I hope I am posting this in the right spot. I really need some help ID'ing a car. I have a '63 Convertible. it is badged as a Wildcat and the interior screams Wildcat but I am not so sure its not a LeSabre.

Can anyone translate a firewall tag???

    Buick - Flint Michigan
    Style 63-4462
    FB2898BODY
    Trim 470 WI * Paint
    ACC A6 17 P2

    Serial # 4J109546 (from doortag)

If anyone could help I sure would appreciate it.

This sit may help you.. Though I think instead of 4462 it's 4467. Might want to take another look at that.. here's the site..

Sure that's not 4467? The picture attached is from my chassis and body illustration catalog. Hope this helps.

I will check, but yes I will agree it probably is a 4467

So I have a '63 LeSabre Convertible, full Wildcat interior and badging in need of full resto. Any thoughts on what direction to go in???

Do all the mechanics first then body, and finally interior. I'm sure that there are some guys on the board that might need some of the Wildcat interior trim. Take your time and just enjoy doing it. It's all up to you and how much :dollar: Buick Bucks you can afford at any given time.
