I have a 300 Buick engine that id like to put a 5speed manual behind it, t-5 or whatever works , id like to know what I need to do, what bellhousing or adapters &flywheel I need or what will interchange, Thanks Bob
It depends... A Richmond 4+1 5 speed will directly replace an original BW T-10 or Muncie setup. A T-5 will require more mods. Bellhousing from a 64-72+ V6, 300, 340, or 350 will fit. Flywheel needs to be from a 300, 340, or 350. An aftermarket 350 flywheel is avail for around $225. Clutch linkage from a 64-66 V6 or V8 300/340 will fit. 67 pedals are slightly different due to the collapsible steering column that was used. I haven't seen much on this board about T5 swaps being done.
