hey guys, this is my first engine rebuild in my life i am only 21. i have an indoor shop where i will be working on this car (1970 skylark), tools arnt a problem, and neither is time, money on the other hand is. not looking to sink 4-5k into the engine and the like. i want to build a great street/strip motor for my new ride (just purchased it 1 month ago). i am not into building a balls out 350 that is going to run a lightning fast 1/4, i just want a build up that is going to leave people see in my tail lights (dam ricers). like i said i have a 1970 buick skylark with the factory original 350-2bb. was wondering what i could do to this car to give it some more umph. i have several of my own ideas, but i dont know what combination of stuff others have had success with. figured you experienced folk could help me. i am planning on tearing it down this winter and starting from the bare block up. let me know what your suggestions are. also if you have any other ideas for exhaust, trany, etc... feel free to toss in those ideas. thanx for all the help guys.
