the first 2 pictures are of a rod that hasnt been ground on but the second has been. the lightest rod is 234 grams on the small end and the heaviest is 242. in the last 2 pictures the end is completely polished smooth there is no more ridge to take off. i got that peticular rod down to 238 grams but i need to get 4 more grams off. if you look at 1st picture, at bottom of the pin housing it gets wider at the bottom (the end towards the beam) can i take some material from there? what other suggestions can you guys give me.

Yes or just match it with the lightest piston/pin combo. They will both be reciprocating weight so it won't matter.
